Run by Sam and ably assisted by her children Lily and George, Handcrafted Me is a welcoming and SEND-friendly craft studio in Ipswich, Suffolk.
Their aim is to give opportunity for all to improve their wellbeing through creativity and to combat loneliness and isolation by providing a friendly, inclusive space.
The studio offers drop-in sessions, workshops and after school clubs using a variety of crafts including slime making, ceramic painting, sand art, candle making, sewing, themed making sessions and more. They can host private parties and events in the studio, and also have a well-stocked online shop.
From time to time the studio will be used for private functions and parties. We aim to keep them to Sunday’s when we are closed to the public but this is not always possible. Weekly notices will be posted onto the door and social media of the schedule with any amendments to our opening days/ times.
Our Term Time Opening Hours are as follows:
Monday - 9:30am to 2:30pm
Tuesday - 9:30am to 2:30pm - Art & Craft club 4pm to 5pm
Wednesday - Closed
Thursday - 9:30am to 2:30pm
Friday 9:30am to 2:30pm - Art & Craft Clubs 4pm to 6:30pm
Saturday 10am to 4pm (last walk ins activities 3:30)
Sunday - Closed for Parties and Private bookings
